Mike Yoder
A seasoned veteran of social media in a corporate role as well as a consultant, Mike Yoder has spent the past 16 years working with social media, 11 of those as the social media lead, for Spectrum Health now Corewell Health. This includes advising and collaborating with our marketing and communications teams on both paid and organic social media strategies for service lines and initiatives throughout the organization. In addition, he is responsible for the systemwide implementation and ongoing administration of the employee advocacy program. He is also the founder of LinkedUp Grand Rapids. Under his leadership, this business networking group on LinkedIn that has grown to more than 18,000 members based in the greater Grand Rapids and West Michigan region.
Yoder graduated from Geneva College with a bachelor’s degree in speech and communications, and Western Michigan University with a master of arts in organizational communication. His most recent certifications earned through LinkedIn include Content Creation: Strategy and Tools, Generative AI for Digital Marketers and How to Research and Write Using Generative AI Tools.
