Joshua Poupore, APR

Joshua Poupore serves as Senior Vice President at Corning Place Communications, a full-service strategic communications firm in Albany, NY. At CPC, Poupore leads public affairs campaigns for clients in healthcare, tech, organized labor and higher education.

Before joining CPC in 2015, Poupore spent five years with the New York State Dental Association, where he oversaw the communications and marketing efforts for the 13,000-member professional association. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Harvard University in the Public Affairs and Communications office, where he managed communications for several different divisions, including the Office for Sustainability, and the Office of Community and Government Affairs. He was also on the communications team for three different Harvard Presidents.

He has been a member of the PRSA Capital Region Chapter since 2011, serving as Assembly Delegate (2019) Ethics Chair (2018-2020), President (2017), President-elect (2016), APR Chair (2015) and Treasurer (2013-15). Poupore has also been involved at the District level, most recently co-chairing the 2022 conference. 

Poupore holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Elmira College and Master of Liberal Arts in extension studies degree with a concentration in journalism from Harvard University.
