Tara Carraro

Tara Carraro serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at U.S. Steel where she is responsible for reputation management and communications strategies. She is also responsible for community relations and non-governmental stakeholder engagement. Carraro joined U. S. Steel in March 2022 and is a member of the executive team.

She recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA). Prior to joining NWNA, Carraro was Senior Vice President, Communications for WWE® – an integrated media organization. Before her time at WWE, she held a variety of corporate affairs/communications roles at Heineken USA, the Altria family of companies and Pepsi-Cola International. 

Carraro serves on the Board of Trustees for the U. S. Steel Foundation and is the Executive Sponsor for U. S. Steel’s sustainability employee resource group. She is also a member of Arthur Page Society and W50 Communications.
