“75 Years of Impact and Influence: People, Places and Moments in Public Relations History” Recognized in Book/Manual/Catalog Category
NEW YORK, March 21, 2023 – PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, has been recognized with a 2023 Gold TRENDY Award for its 75th anniversary publication, “75 Years of Impact and Influence: People, Places and Moments in Public Relations History.” The TRENDY Awards, presented by Association TRENDS, honor the best marketing and communication pieces in the association and nonprofit community.
Published in 2022 to mark PRSA’s 75th anniversary, “75 Years of Impact and Influence: People, Places and Moments in Public Relations History” showcases the history of the profession through the stories of unsung heroes as well as those more widely celebrated. The book documents the pivotal moments when public relations helped shape national and global events, and offers a compelling timeline of the profession’s continued evolution.
“To be recognized with a prestigious Gold TRENDY Award is a terrific capstone to our yearlong anniversary celebration,” said Linda Thomas Brooks, CEO, PRSA. “This project, like so many others throughout the year, would not have happened without the team of professionals, staff and member volunteers who gave their heart and soul to this effort, especially Dr. Felicia Blow, APR, PRSA’s 2022 Chair and leader of the 75th Anniversary Committee. Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved!”
