Philip T. Bonaventura Elected as Treasurer for Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management

Congratulations to Philip T. Bonaventura, PRSA Chief Financial Officer, who was re-elected to the role of Treasurer on the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management Board of Directors. The results of the election were announced during the Global Alliance’s 22nd Annual General Meeting on Saturday, May 25. Philip was first elected Treasurer in 2020 and will commence his third term beginning on July 1.
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management is a not-for-profit organization of the world's major PR and communication management associations and institutions, representing over 360,000 practitioners and academics around the world.
Based in Switzerland, the Global Alliance's mission is to unify the public relations profession, raise professional standards all over the world, share knowledge for the benefit of its members and be the global voice for public relations in the public interest.
Philip joined PRSA in 2007, having previously served as CFO for organizations including the United Nations Association of the United States of America, Inc., the League of American Theaters and Producers, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He leads PRSA’s budgeting, financial projections and investor portfolio administration, as well as manages liquidity and treasury operations. Philip also provides strategic counsel in the development of new business initiatives and oversees the implementation of PRSA’s technology strategy.
