Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief

Sep. 30, 2024

Hurricane Helene made landfall this past weekend as a Category 4 storm and its path of destruction goes through several Southeastern states where PRSA members and their families live and work. More than 100 people have died, roads remain closed, and many communities are without electricity or necessities.

PRSA offers our thoughts and support to those who have been impacted and our thanks to the journalists covering the scene and first responders helping those in need.

If you are in an impacted area and are experiencing a hardship, please reach out to our member services department (membership@prsa.org) for assistance with dues renewals or deferment, conference attendance or other such matters related to PRSA.

Many national and local organizations are already on the ground providing relief. We have included links to just a few of them below should you want to support with a monetary donation.
