Pamela-Bishop

Pamela Bishop (she/her/hers) is a member the of the executive leadership team for the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion division of the University of Utah where she leads marketing and communications.  This opportunity unites her passion for social justice with her extensive marketing, brand, and communication experience as she helps to change hearts and minds on the University's path to becoming an anti-racist community.

Prior to joining the University Pamela spent the majority of her career working with corporations in marketing, advertising, and as a Diversity Champion helping to build global, national, and regional brands including BMW, MINI, ING (now VOYA), AT&T, L'Oreal, Major League Baseball, BellSouth, Publix, and many others in leadership positions on both the client and agency sides.  It is this diverse experience that allows her to look at marketing opportunities from a broad vantage point. 

Outside of work, her passions are community service and real estate investing.  Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a MBA with a concentration in marketing, in addition to certifications in integrated marketing communications, negotiations and real estate.
