Amanda Dudley is a results-driven communications professional with more than 20 years of experience as a go-to resource in spokesperson training, media relations, branding and strategic communications planning.
In Dudley’s most recent role with the CDC, she served as communications director for high-profile topics such as ADHD and children’s mental health. For more than a decade, she provided award-winning crisis communications and media relations expertise, spokesperson training and strategic communications planning to move the mission of the CDC forward.
Her crisis communications expertise was forged during the H1N1 flu pandemic, the ebola epidemic and the recent COVID-19 pandemic. During these tragic events, she created messaging and audience-relevant communications, provided spokesperson training at every level and interacted directly with national and international news media.
She has her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and her master of public health degree from Tulane University.
