With more than 15 years of experience as a market researcher and a strategic communications practitioner, Lisa Kiefer specializes in helping marketing, communications and insights leaders use public opinion data to power more intelligent decisions and effective campaigns.

Lisa has worked with companies in nearly every vertical, including 3M, Anheuser-Busch, Capital One, Citi, Hilton, Home Depot, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, and Verizon, among others. She has led seminars at national and regional events across the U.S., and her polling insights for clients have been cited by CNBC, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, Forbes, and other major media.

Currently, Lisa is Vice President at Morning Consult, a global data intelligence company delivering insights on what consumers around the world think in real time. There, she leads MC's South region in supporting the research needs of companies headquartered in the Southeast U.S.

A longtime contributor to the communications profession, Lisa is a Past President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) National Capital Chapter, the largest industry group of communications professionals in the country, as well as an executive committee member of the National PRSA Corporate Communications Section and an adjunct professor for the American University School of Communication. She is also a Certified Executive Coach to further her effectiveness as a business counselor and leader.

Lisa is an Alexandria Chamber of Commerce “40 Under 40” winner and a Washington Women in Public Relations Emerging Leaders Award honoree. She is a long-standing judge for the prestigious PRSA Silver Anvil awards and has served on the judging panel for the PRSA NCC Hall of Fame.

Prior to Morning Consult, Lisa was president and CEO of Sightline Strategy, supporting organizations' quantitative and qualitative research needs for internal strategic decision-making and public release. She formed her company after serving as an executive for 5 years at a market research firm that specialized in serving Fortune 500 marketing and communications leaders. In the years prior to that, she worked in agency and in-house marketing and communications in New York and Washington, D.C.

Lisa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida where she received the College of Journalism and Communications' highest honor, the Ruth and Rae O. Weimer Award, in addition to the award for the top graduate of the Public Relations program within the College.
