Bonnie McCracken
Bonnie McCracken is the director of innovation communications at Microsoft. She is responsible for overseeing strategic communications and storytelling for groundbreaking research and cutting-edge technologies, including the company’s investments in artificial intelligence (AI). She also leads media relations for Microsoft’s CEO and CTO.
With 20 years of experience in communications and marketing, Bonnie has worked with brands across a variety of industries, including technology, automotive, education and environmental. She was also an adjunct professor at the University of California, San Bernardino where she taught public speaking and introduction to public relations campaigns. Bonnie holds a BA and MA degree in Communication Studies.
In addition to her professional work, Bonnie is passionate about the local community and supports several nonprofits focused on environmental sustainability, animal rights, and providing outdoor recreation for people of all abilities. In her spare time, Bonnie can be found outdoors skiing/hiking/climbing outdoors with her husband Jeff and their dog Suki, or attempting to improve her skills in pottery, wood turning and baking
