Mark Murray

Mark Murray founded M Squared Strategy almost three years ago. Previously, he served as vice president of the Global Engagement and Communications division at PATH, an international, nonprofit global health organization based in Seattle.

Before joining PATH, Mark served in a number of senior communications roles at Microsoft, including citizenship communications, global public affairs communications, managing Microsoft’s corporate digital channels, and leading the international communications function across more than 100 countries.

Before that, Mark served as press secretary, legislative director and chief of staff to U.S. Representative Don Bonker, who chaired the Foreign Affairs subcommittees on Human Rights and International Organizations, and Trade and Economic Development. He also was communications director, speechwriter and deputy chief of staff to Seattle Mayor Norm Rice.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree with distinction in political science from Stanford University.
