Cayce Myers, Ph.D., LL.M., J.D., APR, is a professor of public relations and director of graduate studies at the Virginia Tech School of Communication. He currently serves on the PRSA National Board of Directors and has previously served on the PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards, the PRSA Foundation and the Universal Accreditation Board.

Dr. Myers’s research focuses on media law, strategic communication and digital ethics. He is the author of six books and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and trade publications. His current work addresses the ethical and legal regulation of AI, exploring how this technology can be integrated into PR practice and education to prepare students and professionals for responsible and effective practice in a rapidly evolving industry.
