Kristen Parker
Kristen Parker is the communications director at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland. With more than 20 years of experience at all levels of complex government organizations, she leads the center’s Office of Communications to inspire new understanding, recognition, and appreciation of NASA’s value locally, regionally, and beyond.
Prior to joining the NASA team, Kristen spent nearly seven years as the chief of communications and external affairs for the Veterans Affairs Northeast Ohio Healthcare System. The first half of Kristen’s career was focused on high-profile media and public engagement opportunities for senior U.S. Army programs and leaders throughout the National Capital Region. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public communication from American University in Washington.
