Seronda A. Robinson, PhD
Dr. Seronda A. Robinson is an epidemiologist and professor in the Department of Public Health Education at North Carolina Central University. She teaches courses on epidemiology, biostatistics, research methods and evaluation, global health, and group leadership. Dr. Robinson advises senior departmental majors in the design and evaluation of field placement projects and conducts the evaluation of community-based interventions. Her research interests focus on obesity and its related risk factors and outcomes, cancer, and diabetes. She serves as the coordinator for the Eagle Pride Blood, Marrow, Organ, Sickle Cell, and Cord Blood Drive and the adviser of the Gamma Phi Chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma National Health Education Honorary. Dr. Robinson received bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from Clark Atlanta University and a doctorate in epidemiology from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
