Stacey Smith, APR, Fellow PRSA
Stacey Smith, APR, Fellow PRSA, has over 40 years of experience working with an extensive range of clients from Fortune 50 multinational operations to small not-for-profits. She specializes in assisting organizations communicate effectively with key stakeholder groups to build more strategic and solid relationships that influence organizational success.
A counselor with JJ&W since 1981, Stacey has counseled senior management in government, corporations, schools, universities, hospitals and more on how to communicate in ways that builds long-term relationships with stakeholders.
Accredited and a Fellow in the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), she sits on the Institute for PR's Behavioral Insights Research Group and is a member of the International Public Relations Research Conference (IPRRC) Advisory Committee. She is a Past Co-Chair of the Commission for Public Relations Education (CPRE). She has served PRSA as a Chapter President (1990) of the Maine/New Hampshire/Vermont’s Yankee Chapter. She continues to volunteer actively with the chapter today.
Active locally in her own community, Stacey has volunteered on the boards of the NH Children’s Museum, A Safe Place (Haven), and currently serves on her town’s Historic District Commission, Rye Advocates which works to preserve and celebrate old (pre 1900) homes, and Friends of Rye Town Hall (FORTH) as well as the Lovering Health Center, Greenland, N.H. a reproductive and sexual health center dedicated to the right of everyone to maintain freedom and choices regarding their own sexual and reproductive health.
