Ly Tran
Ly is an Associate Partner, Chief Media Officer at Proof, an Advertising Age Small Agency Winner 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2020. Ly started her ad career at several of the largest agencies in the world, BBDO, Grey and McCann, but later honed her entrepreneurial inventiveness at independent agencies. In 2013, she was one of Advertising Age's 24 Women to Watch. In 2018, she was one of Campaign US's Digital 40 over 40. In 2019, the Austin chapter of the American Advertising Federation named her "The Biggest Wig." Her 24+ year ad career has been passionately dedicated to all things advertising and all things digital. She majored in Advertising and minored in Art History at Emerson College in Boston.
At BBDO in LA she was doing Interactive before the ad industry knew what Interactive was. She built a digital department from the ground up for McCann Erickson in the southwest region. She's worked on big brands like Apple, 3M, MGM, Warner Bros., ConocoPhillips, Popeyes, Subway, Nestlé, Harley-Davidson, American Greetings and Emirates Airlines, but her passion lies in helping startups and challenger brands. For the past 13 years, Ly has led on all things digital for Proof's new business and current clients. And for the last 6 years, in charge of consumer audience insights and consumer connection strategies across all media channels as Proof's Chief Media Officer.
