Dr. Yan Jin
Dr. Yan Jin is the Georgia Athletic Association Professor and a Professor of Public Relations at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Georgia (UGA). She is also the Assistant Department Head of Advertising and Public Relations and the Associate Director of the Center for Health & Risk Communication at UGA. Dr. Jin has authored more than 85 peer-reviewed journal articles and over 20 book chapters. She co-edited the books Social Media and Crisis Communication (2017, Routledge) and Advancing Crisis Communication Effectiveness (2021, Routledge).
Dr. Jin received the 2019 Kitty O. Locker Outstanding Researcher Award from the Association for Business Communication, which recognizes her research excellence and contribution to the business communication discipline. She is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society.
