9 Ways to Incorporate Fun in the Office

A few years ago, my daughter’s best friend, Maggie, 12 years old at the time, commented on my job. “I want to grow up and have a job like yours,” she told me. “You sure have a lot of fun.”
I could understand why Maggie believed we peg the fun meter. She shared her comments right after serving as an official judge of our team’s annual holiday desk-decorating contest.
Yes, our workplace is a ton of fun, but it’s also hard work. But our fun together makes those more challenging days easier to face. We’ve prioritized integrating fun into our culture and it’s paying off — our team tells us that it’s helping to improve productivity and work output.
