Adding Physical Activity to Your Workday

By nature, I am active. Four or five times a week, I begin my day with a run for at least 30 minutes. It feels invigorating and it rejuvenates my mind, body and spirit. As I head out the door for work, I feel relaxed and refreshed, ready to take on the world — or at least my small piece of the universe at my office.
Once I walk through the door, I dive into emails, return phone calls, log on to Zoom calls, answer questions from colleagues, and then — all of a sudden, I realize it is noon and I have not moved from my desk since I arrived at 8:30 a.m. Does this sound familiar?
