Have you ever been in a moment where a simple and relatively good-intentioned act spirals out of any sense of control and comes crashing down in a way that leaves everyone wondering, “Is this really happening?”
A company recently engaged our services after one of its customers made a very generous, if not entirely genuine (they brought their own surprise video crew to record it for social media), act for a few of the company’s employees.
Skip ahead a bit and you have a dispute in how the money was divided (or not divided), an unhappy customer, a terminated employee and a confused business owner.
