People will always be at the core of the PR profession. We are the storytellers, the strategizers, the messengers and the connectors. But as our profession evolves, PR practitioners are using technology at an ever-increasing rate.
Over the last 20 years, emerging technology has had a growing influence on how we do our jobs each day, and on our profession as a whole. We use media outreach platforms to connect with the right journalists and publications, social media allows us to reach niche audiences in greater numbers and digital media has given us new avenues for sharing our message. The list goes on.
