Not So Remote: How to Embrace Flexwork

Remote and hybrid work have become the new normal. Virtual desktops, which you can access from different devices and locations over a network, are now standard. Flexibility in scheduling, work assignments and operating/management models is likewise the new reality for professional communicators.
Some executive teams are calling for employees to return to the office. But workers who’ve been promised the option of clocking in from a distance are pushing back. In many cases, companies are providing greater flexibility and resources for remote or hybrid work.
We stand at the dawn of the flexwork age, when entire organizational workplans and schedules will take creative new forms, necessitating major changes to policy handbooks and corporate guidelines.
