Entrepreneur, Cultural Technologist and Author Samantha Radocchia Added to Roster of ICON 2021 Keynote Speakers

NEW YORK, September 24, 2021 – PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, announced today that entrepreneur, cultural technologist and author Samantha Radocchia will be a keynote speaker at ICON 2021. On October 19 at 1:30 p.m. ET, Radocchia will examine blockchain – and more broadly, decentralization – as the future backbone or “operating system” for emergent technologies in every industry. Moreover, she will focus on how this shift in technology and mindset will change how individuals interact with each other, businesses, government, finances, products, and the environment.
Radocchia is known for being a frontier tech serial founder who combines the mindsets of an anthropologist and technologist. She holds several patents and has served in multiple founding executive roles across the C-Suite. Currently, she is the co-founder and CEO of LOVE, a video and audio messaging platform. An early blockchain pioneer, she previously was co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Chronicled, a San Francisco-based blockchain company bringing trust to global commerce and supply chains. Prior to that, Radocchia founded two companies leveraging artificial intelligence to map personal taste.
A faculty member at Singularity University, Radocchia has spoken around the world at Fortune 100 companies, governments, investment firms, and the United Nations, advising leaders on the technological and cultural paradigm shifts that will shape society in the decades to come. She is the author of “Bitcoin Pizza: The No Bullsh-- Guide to Blockchain” and is a Forbes contributor, who was also was named to magazine’s 30 Under 30 list.
Being held October 4-20 as a fully virtual event, ICON 2021 will feature an innovative lineup of keynote speakers, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and more than 60 breakout sessions. Previously announced keynote speakers include entrepreneur, investor, and bestselling author Randi Zuckerberg and award-winning journalist Yamiche Alcindor. Additional keynote panels include discussions focused on building trust in a distrustful age and navigating communications using a military mindset.
