Kim Schmidt
Kim Schmidt joined the Department of Commerce Tourism Division in July of 2006. As Communications Manager, Kim spends her time developing relationships with writers and journalists, pitching story ideas, implementing traditional and social media strategies and working collaboratively with partners and businesses to tell their story.
In her free time, she loves being with family enjoying all things “#Legendary”- camping, kayaking, hiking, biking, x-country skiing and exploring the hidden gems in our great state. She is passionate about promoting North Dakota’s message to the masses and of course, wants everyone to “Like, Tweet, Follow, and Share” their legendary experiences.
