On Abortion Issue, Many Companies Decline to Take Public Stance

Most companies have stayed silent about the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade on June 24, a decision that ended federal abortion rights and returned the question of abortion legality to the states, The New York Times reported.
“Executives are feeling some trepidation around this,” said Dave Fleet, Edelman’s head of global digital crisis. “They’re concerned about backlash because they know there’s no way to please everyone.”
