Employees Are a Critical Audience in a Crisis

In a crisis, it is easy for communicators, executives and managers alike to get caught up in the external challenges. From media inquiries to customer concerns, from safety questions to social media conversations, a crisis can cause even the best leaders to throw all available resources at the outward response. 

And while that may make some sense in the short term as part of a crisis response strategy, a stakeholder that often is overlooked is the organization’s internal team.
