In response to news reports indicating that Tesla has eliminated its public relations department, PRSA issued the following statement.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the many current restrictions and long-term uncertainty of the situation, PRSA has decided to conduct the 2020 Leadership Assembly in a virtual format.

It marks the sixth school in Connecticut to be affiliated with PRSSA.

Participants will work with leaders from across PRSA to engage the public relations industry as the key catalyst in improving public discourse.

In response to news reports associated with the termination of an FDA spokesperson and PR consultant related to misinformation addressing convalescent plasma therapy, T. Garland Stansell, APR, PRSA’s 2020 Chair, issued the following statement.
